COLOUR PERCEPTION AND HARMONY

Initial results of exploration into how colour, in clay, using ceramic stains, can be used to investigate colour theory. Using Josef Alber's 'Interaction of Colour', to delve into the idea of how ceramic colour can produce results similar to concepts concluded in 'Interaction of Colour'. With ceramic stains producing almost completely stable and uniform colour, they prove the possibilities to create large vast pieces, where the results of colour theory could be explored at a more immersive scale.

The initial result however to use small stained tiles to produce a body of tests to be used similar to colour swatches.
